The GAA Match Tracker (gaa.askcolm.com) is a free match-tracking tool built and operated by Colm McCormack, a Bunbrosna, Co. Westmeath man based in Dublin. It is a personal project offered free of charge to GAA, LGFA, and camogie players, coaches, and supporters. There is no company behind it.
This app is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. Accounts should not be created by, or on behalf of, anyone under 18, and match data should not be submitted for underage players or games. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete the account and associated data.
When you create an account, we collect:
We do not collect names, payment information, or precise location data. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
Your email address is used solely to sign you into your account via a one-time link. Match data is stored so you can view your own previous matches and stat sheets. With your consent, anonymised match data may also be included in an aggregated dataset, for example to understand overall usage patterns or improve the tool. Feedback notes are used to improve the app.
Your data is stored in Supabase (a database provider based in the EU) and, for sign-in emails, delivered via Resend. Both providers are GDPR compliant. No other third party has access to your data. Colm McCormack, as the operator of this tool, has access to the aggregated and individual match data stored in this system.
We keep your account and match data for as long as your account remains active. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email colm@askcolm.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time, and to withdraw consent for the aggregated dataset while keeping your account. To exercise any of these rights, email colm@askcolm.com.
We process your data on the basis of consent, given when you create an account and confirm the consent checkbox during sign-up. You can withdraw this consent at any time by requesting account deletion.
